Blog 3.- My favorite piece of technology.

My favorite piece of technology is one of my most recent discoveries, forced by the current global pandemic context: an e-reader called "Tolino Shine".

 

An e-reader? you will ask yourself. Yes, an e-reader is a kind of tablet or a giant smartphone that has the specific function of storing pdf, doc and epub documents (you can put mangas or comics inside of it to), with the aim of providing a better reading experience to those who use it. Now, how a  tablet or giant smartphone could give a better reading experience? The answer is simple, the e-reader screen is not exactly a screen where colors are reproduced, but rather a panel where by action of the magnetism produced by the electricity inside it reproduces characters (or letters). 

 

Because of that, you can spend a lot of hours reading on this e-reader, because you will not suffer damage or eye fatigue. It has a sleep mode, it can connect to the internet and browse via google, it has a 4GB memory expandable with micro-sd cards, it has bookmarks for all the aforementioned document formats, the possibility of creating folders to organize your texts and it supports 6 languages , including German and Russian. And the best? It can be obtained for the price of 25-30 dollars, very reasonable price compared to other brands of e-reader, like kindle or kobo. "Tolino Shine" is super portable and can come with a case included at the time of request from various web pages.
